Labs

The course will include labs to help students apply their learning to real-world situations, such as:

1. Writing effective OKRs: Students will create their own objectives and key results, and receive feedback from peers and instructors.

2. OKR alignment exercise: Students will work in groups to align individual OKRs with team and organizational objectives.

3. Progress tracking simulation: Students will practice tracking progress towards objectives using real-world data and scenarios.

Assessments

The course will include a mix of formative and summative assessments to help students gauge their understanding of the material and track their progress. Examples of assessments include:

1. Quizzes and short answer questions to test understanding of key concepts and principles.

2. Lab exercises and projects to assess students' ability to apply their learning to real-world scenarios.

About the Instructor

Marc Israel is an Entrepreneur, Thought Leader, Lecturer and Public Speaker, with more than 30 years of success across the IT industry. Leveraging extensive experience in technical leadership for small and large organizations, Marc is a valuable asset for companies requiring expert assistance with next stage development, business planning, competitive positioning, and value-add through IT actionable strategy. His broad areas of expertise include digital transformation, cloud enablement, blockchain and artificial intelligence, for technical and organisation leadership.   Throughout his founder and executive career, Marc has spent 17 years at Microsoft, where he held the position of CTO for Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2018, he founded Aetheis, a technology startup aim at helping organization transform by embracing innovative technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.   Marc attained his degree in Robotics and Engineering from École Superieure d'Ingénieurs en Électrotechnique et Électronique in Paris. He has completed INSEAD and Wharton Executive Education (with distinction) programs. Marc is the recipient of the National Champion of Public Speaking Award at the Mauritius Convention (2010, 2013, 2015, and 2021). He is fluent in French and is the author of 21 technical and non-technical books, including his latest "Private, Hybrid, and Public Clouds".
